Website Analytics

We use GoatCounter to collect aggregate website analytics, such as which pages are visited and which browsers, operating systems, languages, countries, referrers and screen widths are represented in our traffic.

GoatCounter is designed to provide privacy-friendly analytics. According to GoatCounter, it does not store IP addresses, full user-agent headers, tracker IDs, cookies, localStorage, cache entries or other browser storage. GoatCounter uses IP address and user-agent information in memory for up to eight hours to avoid counting repeat visits, but does not store that mapping in its database.

We use this analytics information to improve the website and understand whether it is working well for visitors. We do not use it to identify individual visitors or track them across other websites.

GoatCounter.com is operated by Martin Tournoij in Ireland. GoatCounter stores data on Hetzner Online GmbH servers in Finland and Germany.

You can read more in GoatCounter’s privacy policy and GDPR consent notice.

Last updated: 2 June 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Memstone (“the App”) handles your information.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to store and manage your data for your personal use and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data collection services.

Information You Choose to Store

The App allows you to create, store, and manage information of your choosing. This information is stored on your device using Apple’s data storage technologies.

Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

  • Content you create within the App
  • Settings and preferences
  • Other information required for the App’s functionality

All user content remains under your control and is not accessible to us.

iCloud Synchronisation

The App uses Apple’s CloudKit service to synchronise your data between your Apple devices if iCloud is enabled for the App on your account.

When synchronisation is enabled:

  • Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account.
  • Data is transmitted directly between your devices and Apple’s CloudKit service.
  • We do not have access to your CloudKit data.
  • We cannot view, access, modify, or delete your data stored in your personal iCloud account.

Your use of iCloud and CloudKit is subject to Apple’s privacy policies and terms.

No Analytics or Tracking

The App:

  • Does not use analytics services.
  • Does not track your activity.
  • Does not collect usage statistics.
  • Does not use advertising SDKs.
  • Does not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Sharing

We do not collect, process, sell, rent, or otherwise share personal data with third parties.

Where iCloud synchronisation is enabled, data is transmitted directly between your devices and Apple’s CloudKit service solely to provide synchronisation functionality. We do not have access to this data.

Data Security

Your data is stored using security mechanisms provided by Apple’s operating systems and services. While no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, reasonable measures are used to protect your information.

Your Control Over Your Data

You remain in control of your data.

You may:

  • Delete data from within the App.
  • Delete the App and its local data from your device.
  • Disable iCloud synchronisation through your Apple account settings.
  • Remove data stored in iCloud using Apple’s tools and services where available.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate servers that collect user data, we do not knowingly receive personal information from users of any age.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any updates will be published on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.
